Contractual Details
Contract Type: Permanent
Contracted Hours: Average 38.5 hours a week
Shift Pattern / Hours: 3 on 3 off, Nights 19:00-07:00, (1-hour unpaid break)
Annual Leave: 23.5 days per annum (Equivalent to 6.5 weeks)
(We currently have 2 open Nights vacancy)
Basic Salary: £27,587.13 (+Night Premium)
Victorian Plumbing.co.uk is on the hunt for three Security Operations Assistants to join our team and play a critical role in safeguarding our valued team members, building, and assets. In this crucial position, working as part of a two-person team in a gatehouse location, you'll be the first line of defense, fostering a secure environment where our team can feel comfortable, focused, and empowered to flourish. Your watchful presence will contribute directly to the positive and productive atmosphere we've cultivated here at Victorian Plumbing.co.uk.

What You'll Do
- Champion Security: Conduct regular patrols, both internally and externally, to deter potential security threats. Your keen eye will be vital in identifying suspicious activity, damage, or unauthorized access.
- Be Our Eyes and Ears: Monitor CCTV footage, ensuring comprehensive coverage of critical areas. Respond promptly to incidents and report them to the appropriate managers/authorities.
- Secure Access Control: Assist with visitor and delivery management. Verify identification, maintain a visitor log, and ensure only authorized goods enter the building.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with colleagues to maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone on-site.
What We're Looking For
- A Self-Starter: You possess the initiative and drive to work independently and proactively.

- Detail-Oriented: Your meticulous attention to detail ensures nothing goes unnoticed.
- SIA Licensed: You hold a valid SIA license, a mandatory requirement for security work in the UK.
- Communication is Key: You excel in both written and verbal communication, fostering positive interactions.
- Team Player with a Twist: You can seamlessly work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience in security or facilities management.
