SOC Analyst – London (24/7 Shift Operations)

Salary: £43,800 - £51,500 + 25% shift premium

We are supporting a leading global technology organisation in building a new 24/7 Security Operations capability supporting next-generation sovereign AI and high-performance compute infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing SOC team working within a secure and sensitive environment at the forefront of emerging technology.

As a SOC Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring, investigating and responding to security incidents, working across a range of cyber threats and supporting the wider SOC function in maintaining a strong security posture.

This role is ideal for an experienced SOC Analyst looking to develop their technical skills within a complex enterprise environment, with opportunities to work alongside experienced incident responders and security specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and investigate security alerts across enterprise environments.
  • Perform triage, analysis and escalation of security incidents.
  • Use SIEM and EDR technologies to investigate suspicious activity and identify threats.
  • Support incident response activities including containment, remediation and recovery.
  • Assist with threat analysis, root cause investigations and incident reporting.
  • Contribute to improving detection capabilities, playbooks and SOC processes.
  • Work collaboratively within a 24/7 shift-based SOC environment.

What we’re looking for:

  • 1–3 years’ experience within a SOC, security monitoring or incident response role.
  • Strong understanding of security operations processes and incident handling.
  • Experience analysing security alerts and investigating potential threats.
  • Familiarity with SIEM, EDR and security monitoring tools.
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
  • Relevant cybersecurity degree or industry certifications beneficial for candidates at the junior end.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be a sole British National (no dual nationality).
  • Must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance.
  • Ability to work onsite as part of a 24/7 shift pattern.
