Glasgow | Hybrid (2-3 Days Onsite)
We're partnering with a global organisation to recruit a Security Operations Team Lead to oversee a busy and evolving cyber security function.
This is a hands-on leadership role, combining people management with technical ownership across security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, compliance, and security tooling.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a small Security Operations team.
- Act as the senior escalation point for security incidents.
- Drive security projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee vulnerability management and risk remediation.
- Support compliance with frameworks including ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, NIS2 and SOX.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external security partners.
- Promote security best practice across a global user base.

What We're Looking For
- Experience leading Security Operations, SOC, or Cyber Security teams.
- Strong hands-on Security Operations background.
- Knowledge of ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, NIS2 and SOX.
- Experience with Palo Alto, Cortex XDR and enterprise security tooling.
- Strong Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Active Directory experience.
- Azure and/or AWS security knowledge.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
