🚨 Security Operations Manager | £81k–£86k + 15% Bonus 📍 Milton Keynes / London | Hybrid – 2 days per week
I’m currently recruiting for a Security Operations Manager to join an organisation going through an exciting period of investment and growth across its Cyber Security function. This isn’t a role where you’ll simply inherit a mature SecOps environment and keep things ticking over.
You’ll have the opportunity to shape, improve and mature the Security Operations capability, taking ownership of key areas including:
- Incident Response – owning and developing the end-to-end process
- Vulnerability Management – improving visibility, remediation and processes
- SOC / MSSP – managing and challenging the outsourced security capability
- Security Monitoring – improving detection, alerting and response
- Microsoft Security – Sentinel, Defender/XDR, Purview and the wider E5 stack
- Cloud Security – improving security visibility and integrations across cloud environments

They’re looking for someone who can lead from the front. There is a small internal team to lead and suppliers to manage, but you’ll still need to be technically credible and comfortable getting into the detail when required.

You might currently be a Security Operations Manager, SecOps Lead, Security Engineering Lead or Senior/Lead Security Engineer ready to take on broader ownership.

💰 £81,000–£86,000 + 15% performance bonus
