Due to the continued growth of their managed security services capability and an internal leadership move, this company is looking for a Head of Security Operations to lead and develop their Security Operations function.
This role is critical to ensuring the SOC and managed security services continue to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients while supporting the next phase of growth.
The Role
You'll lead a team of 20 security professionals through four direct reports, overseeing the delivery, performance, and continuous improvement of the Security Operations capability.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Leading and developing the Security Operations team.
- Ensuring the effective delivery of SOC and managed security services.
- Managing operational performance, KPIs, SLAs, and team utilisation.
- Building confidence with customers through strong leadership and service delivery.
- Driving improvements in efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
- Supporting team growth and capability development as the function scales.

About You
You will be a leader who can inspire confidence across both clients and the business.
You Will Have:
- Experience leading Security Operations, Service Delivery, or Cyber Security teams.
- Strong people management and team development skills.
- A data-driven approach to managing performance and operational metrics.
- Excellent stakeholder and customer-facing communication skills.
- The ability to balance operational excellence with a positive, high-performing culture.
- MSSP or MSP experience is preferred but not essential.
