Role Description
The Security Operations Room Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The operator monitors security systems, digital information feeds, and communication channels to identify, assess, and escalate potential threats or incidents. This role involves:

The operator coordinates with field contacts and internal stakeholders, follows established protocols, and supports decision-making during routine and heightened security situations. The role also includes:
- Maintaining operational readiness of systems
- Adhering to security procedures
- Contributing to continuous improvement of monitoring and response processes
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and observation skills for monitoring multiple information sources, identifying anomalies, and assessing security-related risks.
- Proficiency with security monitoring systems, dashboards, and basic open-source information tools or intelligence platforms.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for logging events, producing incident reports, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to follow structured procedures, work calmly under pressure, and make sound judgments in time-sensitive situations.
- Experience in security operations, intelligence, risk management, or a related field is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working in a 24/7 or shift-based environment, including potential evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays as required.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality and data protection standards.
- Relevant academic background or professional training in security studies, criminology, international relations, or a comparable discipline is an advantage.
