Security Operations Specialist Lead
Financial Services firm seeks a Security Operations Specialist Lead to join its Cyber Defence team. Acting as Deputy to the Head of Global Cyber Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of cyber defence services across a global, regulated landscape.
This role requires a strong operator who can ensure consistency, quality, and resilience across detection and response capabilities while maintaining robust governance standards.

Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on operational leadership across global cyber defence teams.
- Drive high-quality, consistent service delivery across regions.
- Take ownership of SOC performance.
- Lead responses to major cyber incidents.
- Ensure third-party providers deliver to the highest standards.
- Mentor senior managers and build long-term capability.
- Enhance processes, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and support the delivery of strategic cyber priorities.

Requirements
This is an excellent role, with a balance of technical and strategic implementation.
Location
Hybrid working (3 days a week) in Surrey
Compensation
£120,000 base + excellent bonus offering + benefits
