Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Security Operations Team Lead, based in Glasgow.
You’ll lead our Security Operations team to proactively identify and address cybersecurity threats, drive operational excellence, and enhance our security posture. You'll lead strategic initiatives, supervise incident response, manage critical security projects, and foster a collaborative environment, ensuring top-tier system performance and adherence to security policies.

What you’ll do as a Security Operations Team Lead:
- Lead a small, agile Security Operations team, actively driving technical initiatives, performance improvements, and efficient workload management.
- Provide hands-on expertise in the delivery of internal security projects and technical support for operational excellence.
- Act as a technical escalation point for incident management, ensuring prompt resolution and the consistent implementation of security processes and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with external suppliers and manage key security service forums to contribute to capacity planning, trend analysis, and ongoing security roadmaps.
- Drive the team forward with confident technical leadership, fostering a collaborative environment, ensuring effective hand-offs, and maintaining a structured approach to task completion.

You are:
- Experienced in leading and managing agile teams in a large, global business environment, with a hands-on approach to people leadership.
- Knowledgeable with a deep understanding of security frameworks and proven experience with ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, NIS-2, and SOX compliance and audit standards.
- Experienced in modern security tooling with hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Cortex XDR, and strong technical awareness of Azure/AWS cloud environments.
- Proficient in identity and access management with strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 capabilities and Entra/Active Directory (AD) Identity platforms.
- Skilled in advanced vulnerability management, with demonstrated ability in enterprise-level scanning, analysis, and resolution.
