About The Role
As Security Partner Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and growing BT's strategic relationships with some of the world's leading cybersecurity vendors. Acting as the primary point of contact between BT and its key security partners, you'll shape joint business plans, develop go-to-market strategies and identify new opportunities to accelerate growth across BT's cybersecurity portfolio.
This is a highly collaborative role sitting at the intersection of partnerships, sales, product and marketing. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and partner organisations to ensure BT is maximising the value of its strategic alliances, bringing new security propositions to market and delivering commercially successful outcomes for both BT and its partners.
Success in this role requires a strong understanding of the cybersecurity ecosystem, the ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple organisations and a commercial mindset focused on driving revenue growth, market differentiation and customer value.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and execute strategic partnership plans with key cybersecurity vendors to drive mutual growth.
- Shape and deliver joint go-to-market initiatives, campaigns and sales plays that increase demand and revenue.
- Collaborate closely with BT sales teams to drive joint account planning, pipeline development and customer engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partner stakeholders, ensuring alignment on strategic priorities and business objectives.
- Lead partner enablement activities, including training programmes, proposition launches and co-selling initiatives.
- Identify and activate new commercial opportunities through partner-led campaigns and innovation initiatives.
- Work with marketing teams to create compelling partner propositions and demand generation activity.
- Track and report on partner performance, pipeline contribution and business outcomes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
