Overview Of The Role
Phoenix is a leading UK IT solutions and managed service provider, with a deep specialism in the public sector. We work with organisations across government, healthcare, defence, public safety, education, housing, and the charity sector - helping them modernise with confidence across cloud, data and AI, cyber security, and managed services.
Through strategic partnerships with the world's leading technology providers - and a trusted place on the major public sector frameworks - our work has a direct impact on the services that millions of people rely on every day.
Due to continued growth, we are hiring a new Security Platforms Solutions Executive to play a key role in driving the growth and adoption of Phoenix's Security Platform portfolio. Working within our Cyber Advisory team, you'll help customers understand the value of our security solutions whilst enabling our sales teams to identify, develop and close new opportunities.
What will you be doing?
- Driving awareness, adoption and revenue growth across Phoenix's Security Platform offerings.
- Acting as a subject matter expert for solutions including Endpoint Security, SIEM/SOAR and Endpoint Management.
- Supporting Account Managers and wider sales teams to identify, qualify and progress security opportunities.
- Leading customer discovery sessions, workshops and scoping discussions to understand business and security challenges.
- Developing solution proposals, statements of work and bid responses to support customer opportunities.
- Working closely with strategic vendor partners to support opportunities, align roadmaps and deliver joint initiatives.
- Supporting and contributing to marketing campaigns, events and thought leadership activities focused on Security Platform solutions.
- Identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell the wider Phoenix portfolio.
- Maintaining accurate pipeline management and forecasting through internal systems.
- Keeping up to date with emerging cyber threats, security trends and market developments.
- Contributing to the ongoing growth and strategic direction of the Security Platforms and wider Security Solutions practice.
Why should you apply?
At Phoenix, our ambition is to be the UK's leading IT solutions and managed service provider - and we know that only happens because of our people. Culture isn't an afterthought here; it's the thing we work hardest on.
We're proud to be certified as a Great Place to Work®, and to be recognised on their UK Best Workplaces lists for Women, Wellbeing, and Development. These aren't badges we chase - they're the result of how we genuinely choose to treat each other, and how seriously we take our colleagues' careers, health, and lives outside of work.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
