Security Project Manager – Data Centres
Location: UK
Type: Permanent
Sector: Data Centres / Critical Infrastructure
Salary: Up to £100,000 + Local Package + Healthcare & Pension!
We are currently looking for an experienced Security Project Manager to join a leading organization delivering major Data Centre and Critical Infrastructure projects across Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for a security professional with strong project management experience who wants to work on large-scale, technically complex Data Centre developments.
🔐 The Role
As Security Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of electronic security systems across Data Centre projects, managing projects from design and procurement through installation, commissioning, and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of electronic security systems across Data Centre projects.
- Lead and coordinate security subcontractors, engineers, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
- Manage project programmes, budgets, procurement, and resources.
- Coordinate security works with CSA, MEP, ELV, and ICT project teams.
- Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of security systems.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, designs, and method statements.
- Manage project documentation, progress reporting, and client communication.
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with programme, quality, and HSE requirements.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and technical challenges.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, and specialist security vendors.
- Ensure all security systems are fully integrated and operational prior to handover.

- Intrusion Detection
- Perimeter Security
- Intercom Systems
- ANPR
- Security Management Systems
- Visitor Management
- Security Control Rooms
- Integration with BMS / ICT / ELV systems
👤 About You
We're looking for someone with:
- Proven Project Management experience within Security / ELV.
- Experience delivering Data Centre, Critical Infrastructure, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, or similarly complex projects.
- Strong understanding of electronic security systems.
- Experience managing subcontractors and specialist vendors.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong commercial and organizational ability.
- Ability to work within fast-paced, technically demanding project environments.
- Relevant project management or technical qualifications are advantageous.
