Project Manager – Security Technology (Financial Services)
£500 per day
12-Month Initial Contract
Cheshire (2 days per week onsite)
Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a key security-focused technology programme.
This role requires a strong delivery professional who can operate effectively across both business and technical teams, taking ownership of a Proof of Concept (PoC) and driving outcomes within a complex, regulated environment.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience delivering Proof of Concepts (PoCs)
- Strong background managing security-related projects and programmes
- Recent experience working within top-tier banking or financial services organisations (essential)
- Ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Demonstrable longevity and stability across previous assignments
- Experience delivering within highly regulated environments

Desirable Experience
- Exposure to Thales PayShield
- Knowledge of Hardware Security Modules (HSMs)
- Understanding of cryptography and key management solutions
- Previous experience within large-scale banking environments

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering technology and security initiatives within financial services. They will be comfortable managing complex stakeholder groups, driving delivery, and bridging the gap between business and technology teams.
Please note that recent experience working within recognised banking or leading financial services organisations is a mandatory requirement for consideration.
