Summary

Guidepost is seeking a highly capable Security Project Manager to support our global data centre client in a full-time embedded role. Fully integrated into the client’s EMEA data centre security programme, the role provides project oversight for physical security and security technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with the client’s security standards.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, excellent project management skills, and the ability to operate within a highly structured, high-performing global organisation, confidently overseeing multiple concurrent projects involving new security installations, renovations, and system upgrades.

Core Responsibilities

  • Act as the client’s security stakeholder and subject matter expert across multiple concurrent, large-scale data centre technical security implementation projects, providing oversight to third-party project teams and ensuring delivery aligns with client expectations and standards.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the client’s technical security standards and documentation, and ensure that projects comply with them. Assess non-compliance in live projects, report findings, and oversee rectification in line with client standards.
  • Oversee physical security and low-voltage system integration, commissioning, and quality control.
  • Conduct on-site progress assessments, compliance reviews, and observation.
  • Monitor and drive progress across the project portfolio under your region in accordance with delivery team contracts.
  • Centrally report on delays, non-conformances with the standards, and compliant rectification solutions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary third-party teams, including consultants, architects, engineers, and integrators, to achieve successful security project outcomes.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, ensuring project issues are tracked, resolved, and documented.
  • Where required, develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation, ensuring clear communication and accountability across stakeholders.
  • Partner with senior leadership to communicate strategic goals, operational plans, and project progress across the region.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of client engagement - serving as the primary point of contact, ensuring satisfaction, and supporting the long-term partnership.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
