Security Resilience Architect (Senior Manager)
London, Hybrid - 2/3 days per week in office
Permanent - £85,000 - £95,000 + benefits
Hays Technology are working with a global business consultancy organisation who are looking for a variety of Security Resilience professionals.
As a Cyber Resilience Architect, you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients build, test, and mature their cyber and technology resilience capabilities.
What you'll be doing:
You will encompass a blend of technical delivery, client engagement, business development, and internal practice development. As a Cyber Resilience Architect, you will be primarily working with clients to design, architect, and implement the following key solutions:
- Advanced enterprise-wide backup and recovery solutions
- Automated failover and recovery
- Resilient cloud-based architecture and design (multi-region, multi-cloud, cloud native, DRaaS)
- Data centre architecture, engineering, and supporting technologies
- ZTNA Networks
- Container, Cluster and Load Balancing

- Knowledge and hands-on experience working with a variety of backup technologies, replication services, and resilience solution providers (e.g. Commvault, Dell Technologies, Rubrik)
- Demonstrable experience of designing and implementing cloud resilient architectures and key characteristics/services across Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Google, Azure)
- Familiarity working with standard data centre stack components (Mainframe knowledge is a bonus but not preferred), and understanding of common pain points for resilience/stability
- Working knowledge of resilience standards and frameworks and how these can be utilised by clients to embed resilience
- Solid capability to produce client-friendly materials, presenting complex ideas simply and professionally across a range of artefacts from proposals to solution documentation
- Ability to understand client problems and issues and develop a proposal for how we can support
- Commercial capability to develop proposals, produce cost estimates, propose compelling commercial offers and present well to clients
- Strong project management skills and experience, particularly the ability to drive activity in complex environments and under time pressure
- Ability to navigate difficult, complex, and unfamiliar client processes in addition to other commitments
- Capability to communicate cyber and technology resilience issues to a variety of stakeholders up to Board level, covering both business and technical lenses for any given problem or topic
