Kingdom Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Security Shift Manager to join our team at a prestigious site in Drax, Selby, North Yorkshire (YO8 8PH).
This is an excellent opportunity for a security professional with supervisory or management experience who is looking to progress their career within a well-established and growing organisation. You'll play a key role in managing site security operations, leading a team of security officers, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer service are maintained.

About the Role
The Security Shift Manager will report directly to the Security Co-ordinator and assist in the operational supervision of all security personnel, ensuring site security procedures and safety standards are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Completing reports and recording observations, incidents, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Managing and resolving difficult situations professionally and safely.
- Operating and overseeing access control systems, CCTV, and integrated security systems.
- Managing staff rotas, scheduling, holiday planning, and workforce allocation.
- Supporting payroll administration, month-end invoicing, and payroll queries.
- Maintaining training records and ensuring staff training compliance.
- Providing cover for the Operations Support Manager during absence or annual leave.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and senior management teams.
- Monitoring and managing KPI performance.
- Handling confidential information in line with data protection and safeguarding requirements.
- Demonstrating flexibility to meet operational business needs when required.

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Own transport
- Previous security management or supervisory experience
- Strong administration and Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience producing reports and maintaining records
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent observation and decision-making abilities
- Flexible approach to working requirements
Desirable
- SIA CCTV Licence
- NVQ Level 3 Management qualification
- Knowledge of security legislation and public safety procedures
- Experience managing KPIs, payroll administration, and training compliance
