💰 Pay: £15.50
📅 Hours: 42 Hours - 4 on 4 off Days only

A leading technology and innovation organisation delivering advanced solutions across defence, national security, and critical infrastructure sectors. As a Security Supervisor, you will lead a professional security team at a high-profile site supporting mission-critical operations. The Security Supervisor will oversee daily operations, service delivery, and performance standards while upholding Securitas' values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness. This is an exciting opportunity for a Security Supervisor to provide strong leadership, maintain operational excellence, and ensure a safe and secure environment 24/7.
Responsibilities
Job Description
You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:
- Lead, support, and develop a team of Security Officers, ensuring all personnel remain trained, licensed, and compliant.
- Manage team rotas, shift coverage, performance, and professional standards across the site.
- Act as the first point of contact for security incidents, operational issues, and client requests.
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation while conducting investigations as required.
- Monitor and report faults with security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, training, and development within the team.
- Uphold Securitas' core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness at all times.

Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Valid SIA Licence.
- Previous Security Supervisor, team leader, or supervisory security experience.
- Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to manage incidents calmly, professionally, and effectively.
- Experience completing reports, investigations, and security documentation.
- Good understanding of health & safety and security procedures.
- Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Full right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable employment and address history.
- Must be a UK National and have resided in the UK for the last 5 years due to site requirements.
- Strong written and spoken English skills.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain Security Clearance (SC).
