Security Supervisor
📍 Location: Winchester, SO21 2JN
đź’° Salary: ÂŁ38,500 per year
đź•’ Hours: 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm

About the Role
We're looking for a Security Supervisor to join our team in Winchester, overseeing security operations at a prestigious technology and innovation campus. The Security Supervisor will lead a team, manage day-to-day service delivery, and maintain a safe and secure environment through access control, patrols, incident response, and customer service. As the main point of contact, the Security Supervisor will ensure high standards, strong client relationships, accurate reporting, and operational excellence across this busy multi-building site.
This role offers the opportunity to work within a professional corporate environment, supporting a globally recognised technology organisation, with excellent on-site facilities including parking and a subsidised canteen.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist staff, visitors, and contractors while delivering excellent customer service.
- Lead and support the on-site security team during your shift.
- Conduct regular patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Manage access control, CCTV, alarm systems, and incident response.
- Ensure all officers are compliant with site procedures and company standards.
- Support emergency procedures, including evacuations and searches.
- Monitor performance, provide coaching, and support team development.
- Maintain accurate records, site documentation, incidents, and handovers.
- Remain vigilant at all times, reporting incidents and preventing disruption.

Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:
- British nationality and UK residency for the past 5 years (due to site requirements)
- The right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable employment history
- A valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence
- A valid CCTV Licence and full UK driving licence
- Previous control room experience and the ability to lead and motivate a team
- A proactive approach, strong customer focus, and excellent team-building skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken English
- Flexibility to support operational requirements when needed
