Security Supervisor Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Security Supervisor to join our team on a permanent basis. This position is well-suited to an experienced officer who can work alone as well as part of a team, and is looking to gain experience within a healthcare setting.
The Successful Candidate
The ideal candidate will have good negotiation skills and possess a customer-focused approach. This role is subject to Enhanced DBS disclosure.
- To act as the first point of contact for any security-related issues.
- To manage the staff employed as security guards to provide the best possible experience for all users (patients, visitors, and staff).
- To monitor and coordinate the reaction to any alarm activations.
- To provide reports and monitoring information as required to produce performance reports.
- To act as the first point of contact for any security-related issues.
- Carry out a full range of security duties in accordance with agreed policies and procedures.
- Maintain effective communication links through the correct use of radio, bleep systems, and correct terminology.
- Lock and alarm departments as required, external doors & gates as laid down in Trust lockdown procedures.
- Assist in the search for missing patients and if necessary, escalate the search by contacting local police.
- Maintain any scene of crimes.
- Provide a first point of contact for fire brigade and emergency ambulance service.

Qualifications, Experience And Skills
- SIA Licence
- General School Education
- Experience of leading a team
- Basic IT Skills
- Experience of conflict management, violence, and aggression
- Good negotiation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
The Company
Integrated Facilities Management (iFM) Bolton Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bolton NHS Foundation Trust. We provide facilities management services at the Royal Bolton Hospital and the surrounding community health centers. Most inpatients will come into contact with iFM Bolton staff during their stay through our various services.
