Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services for an experienced Security Supervisor to join our established security team at GSF Wolverhampton.

This is a leadership-focused role within a busy warehouse and logistics environment, responsible for the day-to-day supervision, management, and performance of the on-site security team. As Security Supervisor, you will ensure all operations are delivered to the highest standards of professionalism, compliance, safety, and customer service.

The successful candidate will act as the primary on-site point of contact for the client and security team, overseeing security operations, supporting officer development, and ensuring the protection of people, property, and assets across the site.

A valid frontline SIA licence is essential, and previous supervisory experience within a security environment is highly desirable.

Duties Include:

  • Supervise and support the on-site security team, ensuring all personnel perform their duties effectively and in accordance with site Assignment Instructions (AIs) and company procedures.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the client, site management, and Anchor Group Services.
  • Monitor officer performance, attendance, compliance, patrol frequencies, and overall service delivery standards.
  • Conduct regular site patrols, access control checks, vehicle inspections, and security inspections across the premises.
  • Ensure the protection of the client's people, property, assets, and operations at all times.
  • Identify, investigate, and report security incidents, accidents, near misses, defects, and breaches of procedure.
  • Escalate all security and health & safety matters in accordance with company and client escalation procedures.
  • Lead and coordinate responses to emergencies, incidents, alarms, evacuations, and business continuity events.
  • Support investigations and complete detailed incident and compliance reports.
  • Conduct welfare meetings, performance reviews, and contribute to annual appraisal processes.
  • Identify training requirements and support the development and competency of security personnel.
  • Maintain accurate site records, logs, key management systems, and operational documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety requirements, site procedures, and customer operational standards.
  • Work closely with the Contract Manager to drive continuous improvement and maintain excellent client relationships.
  • Support the Anchor Operations Centre (AOC) with staffing requirements and operational resilience when required.
  • Promote a safe, secure, professional, and welcoming environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
