Supervisor Mobile Officer

Vigilant Security is currently recruiting a Security Supervisor - Mobile Officer located in Edinburgh. The officer will be responsible for servicing a number of sites in Edinburgh. This job requires you to drive a client vehicle when required

Scope

  • Location: Edinburgh
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Working Pattern: 4 on 4 off
  • Pay Rate: £17.20 p/h

SIA Licence and Driving License is required. The officer will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day security requirements at various prestigious sites, maintaining a good corporate image and high standards of professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Mobile Patrols, Lock ups and unlocks
  • To undertake response to alarm activations on request from the communications centre.
  • Undertake site visit inspections in accordance with management instructions.
  • Proficient use of relevant communications equipment.
  • Ensuring all H&S policies are adhered to.
  • Assist staff and visitors to the sites.
  • Ensuring that no un-authorised persons are permitted in prohibited areas.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of any incidents that occur.
  • In addition to these functions' employees are required to undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required.

Key Accountabilities Mobile Team/Keyholding

  • Ensure the company vehicle is road worthy at all times (Daily Vehicle Checks).
  • Respond to all alarm activations in a timely manner.
  • Accurately report all findings from alarm activations.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of any incidents that occur using the appropriate reporting procedure.
  • Unlock / lock up client's premises in line with the Assignment Instructions and client's procedures.
  • Ensure all relevant information is passed over on handover
  • Complete schedules to record site visits.
  • Complete all required key registers and seal logs.
  • Inform line managers of any changes to details/job specifics/issues at site.

Personal Specification

  • Current SIA license.
  • Full Clean driving licence (held for a minimum of 5 years)
  • Experience with Mobile and key Holding duties preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
  • Smart and confident.
  • Reliable and self-motivated.
  • Flexible approach to work.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good I.T Skills, use of Samsung Tablet
  • Customer/client awareness.
