What You'll Be Doing
Join the House of Commons as a Security Support Assistant and play a vital role in supporting the security of Members of Parliament and their staff. Working within the Parliamentary Security Department, you'll provide trusted, high-quality support in a specialist environment where your judgement, organisation and communication skills will make a real difference.
You'll act as a key point of contact for Members and stakeholders, managing security-related requests from assessment through to completion. You'll make informed, auditable decisions, communicate clear recommendations, and help ensure time-critical services are delivered effectively. You'll also contribute to projects, process improvements, data analysis and management information, while supporting governance, records and financial processes.
This is an exciting opportunity to build experience at the heart of Parliament, working across a complex stakeholder environment and contributing to the continuous development of services that help keep Members safe. The role requires at least two days per week on the parliamentary estate.
