Security Team Leader (Nights)

Laing O'Rourke, on behalf of Select Security, are looking for a project-based security team leader to manage our nighttime security team on one of our major construction projects in Oxford.

About the Role

As a Team Leader, you'll be looking after and coordinating our nightshift security operations. This means leading and motivating a team of dedicated security officers and making sure we keep top-notch security standards on the project.

If you're a proactive leader with a solid work ethic, good computer skills, and you know how to manage schedules well, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of security officers working during nightshifts.
  • Patrol: Do mobile security patrols to various client locations throughout the night.
  • SIA License: Have and maintain a valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence.
  • Scheduling: Schedule and allocate security personnel to meet client needs and keep service standards high.
  • Report Management: Use your computer skills to create and maintain incident reports, activity logs, and other documentation as needed.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain good relationships with the project through liaison with the Security Supervisor, dealing with their concerns and making sure their security needs are met.
  • Emergency Response: Coordinate and respond to security-related emergencies, keeping everyone and everything safe.
