We’re partnering with a high-profile, regulated organisation to appoint an organised and proactive Security Test Co-ordinator during a significant period of enterprise transformation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience coordinating technical teams, suppliers, or testing activities to play a central role within an established Enterprise Security Testing function.

We’re particularly interested in candidates who can manage multiple concurrent testing activities, communicate confidently with technical and senior stakeholders, and ensure security testing progresses efficiently from initial scoping through to remediation and closure.

The Opportunity

As Security Test Co-ordinator, you’ll manage the end-to-end coordination of internal and third-party security testing activities, ensuring each engagement is clearly scoped, appropriately resourced, and delivered in line with internal governance requirements. Working closely with technical teams, suppliers, and business stakeholders, you’ll maintain testing schedules, coordinate resources, and ensure the necessary access, environments, accounts, and approvals are in place before testing begins. You’ll also oversee the lifecycle of security findings, tracking progress through triage, remediation, retesting, and closure while maintaining accurate reporting for executive and C-suite stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the end-to-end planning and coordination of security testing activities.
• Defining and maintaining clear test scopes, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Assigning internal or external testers based on skills, availability, and testing requirements.
• Maintaining the security testing schedule and proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and potential conflicts.
• Facilitating scoping discussions with internal stakeholders to establish clear and actionable test requirements.
• Communicating testing timelines, prerequisites, and responsibilities across multiple teams.
• Coordinating the onboarding and offboarding of internal and third-party testers.
• Ensuring access, environments, test accounts, and approvals are in place ahead of scheduled testing.
• Providing occasional on-site supervision where third-party testing requires physical oversight.
• Tracking security findings through triage, remediation, retesting, and closure.
• Monitoring remediation activity against agreed service levels and internal policies.
• Maintaining accurate testing documentation, reporting, and audit artefacts.
• Reporting security testing updates and performance overviews to executive and C-suite stakeholders.
• Supporting continuous improvements to security testing processes, workflows, and governance.
