The Opportunity
Pegasus is seeking a senior international specialist to provide expert input across seismic monitoring, prediction, data analysis and comprehensive observation-system development. The role calls for deep consulting experience and the ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly across institutional and cultural settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on the planning and design of seismic monitoring, prediction and related technical services.
- Analyse seismic information and translate results into technically sound, decision-ready findings.
- Support the design or strengthening of comprehensive seismic observation and early-warning systems.
- Prepare and review technical specifications, methodologies, reports and implementation recommendations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary experts, client counterparts and relevant technical institutions.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- At least 20 years of overall professional experience.
- At least 10 years of consulting experience in the planning, design and supervision of seismic monitoring, prediction and related services.
- Master's degree or PhD in Seismology, Geophysics, Geology or a related field.
- Recognised certification, professional affiliation or expertise related to disaster prevention, seismic observation and/or early-warning systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in seismic data analysis and comprehensive seismic observation systems.
- Multilingual capability and strong cross-cultural communication skills.
