Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role based in Dewsbury for a self-employed cleaner working with Pureology Cleaner Limited. The cleaner will carry out routine and deep cleaning tasks in commercial and residential properties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, and handling end of tenancy and oven cleaning as required. Day-to-day responsibilities include following agreed cleaning schedules, using appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely, and ensuring all areas meet the company’s hygiene and presentation standards. The role also involves traveling between local sites in Dewsbury and nearby areas, maintaining accurate records of work completed, and communicating clearly with clients and the company regarding access, requirements, and any issues. As a self-employed cleaner, the individual will manage their own time, provide a reliable service, and uphold professional conduct on every visit.

- Strong practical cleaning skills for commercial and domestic environments, including deep cleaning, end of tenancy tasks, and oven cleaning.
- Ability to follow cleaning schedules, prioritize tasks, and maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation across different property types.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients professionally and understand specific cleaning requirements.
- Reliable time management and organizational skills, with the capacity to work independently and manage a self-employed workload.
- Basic knowledge of safe use of cleaning products and equipment, including adherence to health and safety guidelines and property security procedures.
- Access to suitable transport to travel between jobs in Dewsbury and surrounding West Yorkshire areas.
- Previous experience in professional cleaning (commercial or domestic) is highly beneficial, though candidates with strong motivation and attention to detail will be considered.
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to provide references or undergo background checks if required.
