Build your business with a specialist network created for equity release and later life lending advisers.
TERN has been designed for qualified advisers who are serious about growing a successful equity release business. We provide the technology, specialist support and commercial opportunities to help you succeed.
Unlike a general mortgage or financial adviser network, TERN is purpose-built for later life lending and designed around the way specialist advisers actually work.
About Equity Release Group
TERN forms part of Equity Release Group, one of the UK’s leading later life lending businesses.
The group includes:
- Equity Release Supermarket – an established whole-of-market equity release advice and comparison business
- Equitec® – specialist technology developed exclusively for the later life lending market
- smartER® – our proprietary equity release research and comparison technology
- TERN – supporting advisers with technology, compliance, marketing and business development
Together, the group combines extensive sector experience, established consumer brands and proprietary technology.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
