Job Title: Self-Employed Farm Assessor

Location: Lancashire & Cumbria

Does being outdoors, travelling between farms, and supporting the dairy industry appeal to you? If so, we want to hear from you! We are seeking self-employed farm assessors to carry out farm assessments on a nationwide project.

This role offers the freedom to work across the beautiful countryside, visiting dairy farms and conducting assessments.

What You'll Do

  • Assess Animal welfare
  • Assess Hygiene and Farm cleanliness
  • Complete farm record checks
  • Collect carbon footprint data
  • Conduct and update computerised records throughout the year.

What We Need From You

  • Effective communication with farmers
  • IT literacy
  • Dedication and self-motivation, managing your own time whilst working to deadlines.
  • An agricultural background with good knowledge of dairy farming
  • RoMS accredited or willing to complete the qualification at your own cost.
