Self-Employed Field Sales Consultant

£100,000+ Earning Potential | Uncapped Commission | Ongoing Residual Income

National Payments is growing, and we're looking for experienced payments salespeople to join our self-employed field sales team across the UK.

This is for people who already know the industry and know how to sell.

We provide access to card machines, EPOS systems, business funding, and hardware, backed by some of the biggest names in payments.

You find the businesses, build the relationships, and close the deals.

We handle the onboarding. You concentrate on selling.

The opportunity

This isn't just about earning a commission on the day you make a sale.

You'll have the opportunity to earn huge upfront commissions, while also building an ongoing residual income from the customers you bring to National Payments.

We already have self-employed consultants earning well over £10,000 a month in upfront commissions alone, before their residual income is taken into account.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

There's no cap on what you can earn.

The role

You'll work within your chosen area, speaking directly with business owners and helping them review their current payment and EPOS setup.

You'll generate your own opportunities, meet businesses face-to-face, put together the right solution, and close the deal.

From there, our Operations Team handles the KYC, KYB, onboarding, and acquiring bank queries, leaving you to concentrate on selling, installing, and building your customer book.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for people with previous experience in the payments industry who already understand merchant services and know how to sell to business owners.

You might currently be working for an acquirer, ISO, or another payments provider and want the opportunity to earn more, build your own customer book, and benefit from ongoing residual income.

You'll need to be confident generating your own opportunities, meeting business owners face-to-face, and taking a deal from initial conversation through to close.

We don't need to teach you how to sell payments.

We want to give good payments people a better opportunity to do it.

You'll also benefit from:

  • Huge upfront commissions
  • Ongoing residual income
  • A broad range of products including card machines, EPOS, funding, and hardware
  • Full Operations support with KYC, KYB, onboarding, and acquiring bank queries
  • Pre-booked appointments for our top-performing consultants
