Role Description

As a Self Employed Live In Carer with IntroEase Ltd, you will provide person-centered care and support to clients in their own homes on a live-in basis. Day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with personal care
  • Medication prompts
  • Mobility support
  • Meal preparation
  • Light household tasks

  • Monitor changes in a client’s condition
  • Report concerns to the care provider
  • Maintain accurate daily records
  • Follow agreed care plans and safeguarding procedures

The role also involves offering companionship, emotional support, and clear communication with clients, families, and care coordinators.

This is a full-time, remote role in the sense that you are self-employed and engaged through IntroEase’s platform, working directly in clients’ homes rather than from a central office.

Qualifications

  • Strong care-giving skills, including personal care, mobility support, and safe manual handling.
  • Ability to manage household tasks such as meal planning, cooking, and light cleaning to support daily living.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients, families, and care providers.
  • Reliable record-keeping and basic digital skills to maintain care notes and respond to assignments via online platforms.
  • Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional boundaries in domiciliary and live-in care settings.
  • Relevant experience in home care, domiciliary care, or live-in care; formal care training or NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care is advantageous.
  • Ability to work autonomously as a self-employed professional, including good time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Right to work in the UK, suitable references, and willingness to undergo background checks (e.g., DBS) and provide proof of self-employed status.
