Role Description
This full-time, remote Self Employed Mortgage Advisor role focuses on providing expert mortgage and protection advice to a broad range of clients while developing and growing an independent advisory business under the Just Mortgages SE Group umbrella. Day-to-day, the advisor will conduct detailed client consultations, assess financial circumstances, recommend suitable mortgage and protection products, and manage applications from initial enquiry through to completion.

The role involves maintaining strong relationships with clients, introducers and lender partners, ensuring clear communication and excellent customer service at all stages of the process. The advisor will be responsible for generating and converting leads, managing a personal pipeline, and operating within regulatory and compliance frameworks. In addition, the advisor will collaborate with the Business Manager and central support teams to use marketing, digital tools and training resources to build a sustainable, scalable business.

Qualifications
- Strong mortgage advisory expertise, including experience advising on residential, buy-to-let and protection products, supported by up-to-date market knowledge.
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills, including the ability to build trust, explain complex information clearly, and manage expectations throughout the mortgage process.
- Solid business development and sales capabilities, such as lead generation, networking, pipeline management and converting enquiries into completed business.
- Sound compliance and risk management awareness, including working within FCA regulations, adhering to company policies, and maintaining accurate records.
- Strong organizational and self-management skills, including the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a remote, self-employed setting.
- Relevant qualifications such as CeMAP or an equivalent industry-recognized mortgage advice certification are required, with previous experience as a Mortgage Advisor or in financial services strongly preferred.
- Comfort with digital tools, CRM systems and online communication platforms.
