About The Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mortgage & Protection Adviser to join an established and growing mortgage business as a self-employed adviser.

This role is ideal for an adviser looking for strong earning potential, quality lead support and the opportunity to build and develop their own client bank within a supportive team environment.

You will benefit from a combination of company-provided leads and support to generate your own business, giving you the opportunity to build a sustainable pipeline and develop long-term client relationships.

The business is an Appointed Representative of HL Partnership, providing access to the infrastructure, support and proposition of an established mortgage and protection network.

The role

As a Mortgage & Protection Adviser, you will provide high-quality and compliant mortgage and protection advice, supporting clients from initial enquiry through to completion.

You will work with both company-provided leads and your own self-generated opportunities, while taking responsibility for developing long-term client relationships and growing your personal client bank.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct mortgage and protection appointments
  • Manage clients throughout the advice and application process
  • Provide suitable and compliant mortgage and protection recommendations
  • Maximise opportunities from both company-provided and self-generated business
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Identify protection opportunities and refer to the dedicated Protection Specialist where appropriate
  • Maintain accurate client records and meet all regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Take ownership of your pipeline, performance and business development activity

About You

We are looking for an experienced Mortgage & Protection Adviser who is commercially driven, client-focused and motivated to develop their own business.

You Will Ideally Have

  • Competent Adviser Status
  • CeMAP qualification or equivalent
  • Experience advising on residential mortgages
  • A good understanding of protection products and client needs
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A professional and client-focused approach
  • Strong organisation and pipeline management skills
  • The drive to develop your own client bank and maximise your earning potential
