About The Job

HL Partnership Mortgage & Protection Network is recruiting experienced self-employed Mortgage & Protection Advisers on behalf of a new and fast-growing Appointed Representative.

This opportunity is ideal for advisers who want to retain the flexibility and independence of a self-employed model while benefiting from access to a strong national estate agency lead source.

The role also offers the opportunity to participate in the long-term growth of a modern brokerage, with equity participation available subject to the relevant terms and agreements.

Reliable, high-volume lead sources are more commonly associated with employed corporate models. This opportunity gives self-employed advisers the chance to combine greater independence with access to a consistent source of introduced business.

The business is led by a founder with more than 25 years’ experience in mortgage advice and estate agency-aligned distribution, including previous board-level responsibility within a major UK mortgage services operation.

What’s on offer?

  • A self-employed and independent working model
  • Access to a national estate agency lead source
  • Competitive commission arrangements
  • 75% of broker and procuration fees on self-generated business
  • 80% of protection and General Insurance commission on self-generated business
  • 55% across broker fees, procuration fees, protection and General Insurance on introduced business
  • Monthly membership fee of £99
  • First six months’ membership fee waived
  • Potential income guarantee of £3,000 per month for the first six months, subject to eligibility
  • Equity participation opportunities
  • Support from HL Partnership’s compliance infrastructure
  • The opportunity to participate in the long-term growth of the business

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
