Company Description
TMG Mortgage Network is an innovative, fast-growing financial services network in the UK, founded in 2021 and built by brokers for brokers. The network focuses on strong relationships, a personal approach, and a deep understanding of members’ business objectives and support needs. Rather than aiming to be the largest network, TMG is committed to being the best by offering freedom to grow within its brand while maintaining individual independence. Appointed representatives gain access to extensive resources, assistance, and regular events that foster connection, collaboration, and long-term partnerships. The leadership understands the challenges advisers face in traditional structures and is dedicated to providing a supportive, empowering environment for self-employed professionals.
Role Description
This full-time remote role as a Self-Employed Mortgage & Protection Adviser involves providing tailored mortgage and protection advice to clients, managing the advice process from initial consultation through to completion. The adviser will assess client needs, research suitable mortgage and protection products, prepare recommendations, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and network standards.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
