Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Self Employed Padel Coach role based in Bushey. The coach will plan and deliver individual and group padel coaching sessions for players of varying ages and skill levels, focusing on technique, tactics, fitness, and enjoyment of the game. The coach will help organize and support local matches, clinics, and events, while promoting best practices in warm-up, cool-down, and injury prevention. Additional tasks may involve:
- Scheduling sessions
- Managing client communication
- Collaborating with Padel Tree to enhance the overall padel experience at the facility
Qualifications
- Strong padel or racket-sport coaching skills, including knowledge of game rules, techniques, and tactics.
- Ability to design structured training plans and adapt coaching methods to different ages and skill levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate, instruct, and support players in a positive manner.
- Good organizational and time-management skills for scheduling sessions, managing client bookings, and maintaining punctuality.
- Physical fitness and stamina to demonstrate techniques, run active sessions, and maintain a safe training environment.
- Relevant coaching certifications or qualifications in padel, tennis, or similar sports are highly beneficial.
- Experience working in a club or sports facility setting, with a focus on customer service and player experience.
- Right to work as a self-employed professional in the UK, with the ability to manage own schedule and invoicing.
