Role Description

Due to expansion, a new pensions actuary is required to work on a consultancy basis as an expert witness and/or to support our expert witness actuaries. Training and support is provided by the company and the other actuaries in this specialist area. This is a working from home role.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex pension data.
- Solid foundation in UK pensions law.
- Understanding of insurance and pension scheme structures, including UK regulatory and tax considerations.
- Professional actuarial qualification (e.g., FIA or equivalent).
- Experience in pensions consulting, divorce-related pension work, or Expert Witness reporting is highly beneficial.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured reports for court and client use.
- Capacity to work independently on a self-employed basis, manage workload, and meet deadlines.
