About The Role
We are seeking a Personal Carer to provide support to a lady living in the Bournemouth area. Between care visits, the individual currently spends much of her time in bed and requires assistance to safely transfer between her bed, wheelchair, and walking aid.
The individual contracted Polio during childhood and has since been diagnosed with osteoporosis and arthritis. As a result of these conditions, she requires support with personal care, nutrition, and maintaining a safe and habitable living environment.
Support Is Required On Sundays, Comprising
- Morning visit: 1 hour between 10:00am and 12:00pm
- Evening visit: 1 hour between 5:00pm and 7:00pm

The morning visit will involve assisting with bathing and safe transfers in and out of the bath to maintain personal hygiene, supporting the individual to dress appropriately for the day, and preparing breakfast.
The evening visit will include assistance with washing, changing continence pads, and preparing a light evening meal.
The successful candidate will be compassionate, reliable, and able to provide person-centred support that promotes the individual's dignity, comfort, and independence within her own home.
