About the role

We are looking for ambitious, driven and commercially minded individuals to join our recruitment business as Self-Employed Recruitment Partners.

This is an opportunity for experienced recruiters, recruitment consultants, sales professionals and individuals with strong industry networks to build their own recruitment desk while benefiting from the infrastructure, brand, systems and support of an established recruitment company.

You will have the freedom and flexibility of working on a self-employed basis, with uncapped earning potential based on the revenue you generate.

You can focus on developing new clients, managing existing relationships, sourcing candidates and making successful placements.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and candidates.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and winning recruitment assignments.
  • Taking vacancies from initial brief through to successful placement.
  • Sourcing, screening and qualifying candidates.
  • Conducting candidate interviews and assessments.
  • Managing the recruitment process between client and candidate.
  • Negotiating fees and managing client expectations.
  • Maintaining regular communication with clients and candidates.
  • Using recruitment databases, job boards, LinkedIn and other sourcing methods to identify candidates.
  • Building your own network of clients and candidates.
  • Keeping accurate records of activity and opportunities through our recruitment systems.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider recruitment business where appropriate.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Commission

Our commission structure is designed to reward performance and encourage you to build your own client portfolio.

Standard commission structure:

  • monthly net revenue: 20%

If you generate £15,000 in qualifying recruitment fees during a month at a 20% commission rate, your commission would be:

£15,000 × 20% = £3,000

The more business you generate, the greater your earning potential.

The ideal person

This role is particularly suited to someone who:

  • Wants greater control over their working life.
  • Is frustrated by traditional recruitment structures.
  • Wants uncapped earning potential.
  • Already has a recruitment background or strong industry network.
  • Enjoys business development and sales.
  • Wants to build something of their own while having the backing of an established recruitment company.

Important

This is a self-employed opportunity, not an employed position. You will be responsible for managing your own tax and other obligations associated with self-employment. The exact contractual arrangements, commission terms and responsibilities will be set out in the independent contractor agreement.

If you're ambitious, commercially minded and want the opportunity to build a substantial income through recruitment, we'd like to hear from you.
