Self-Employed Sales Agent

IT, Cyber Security, Telecoms and EPOS

Scotland | Flexible and field-based | Uncapped commission

Welgo is looking for an experienced self-employed sales agent to help us win new clients across Scotland.

We provide managed IT support, cyber security, Microsoft 365, cloud backup, telecoms, connectivity, and EPOS solutions to growing businesses. We are now investing in our sales activity and want to work with someone who can open doors, build trusted relationships, and convert genuine business needs into long-term client partnerships.

This is not a heavily scripted telesales role. We are looking for someone commercially confident who can represent Welgo credibly, develop their own network, and create opportunities with SMEs across sectors including professional services, hospitality, retail, and multi-site businesses.

The Opportunity

You will identify and develop new business opportunities for Welgo, introducing prospective clients to the services most relevant to them. This may include:

  • Improving their IT support
  • Strengthening cyber security
  • Replacing outdated telephone systems
  • Reviewing connectivity
  • Introducing a more effective EPOS solution

You will be supported by Welgo’s technical and operational team, who will assist with technical discovery, solution design, proposals, and onboarding. Your focus will be on relationships, opportunity development, and closing business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
