About Folio1
Folio1 is the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for two established European software houses: Genius Bytes (25 years trading, 1,000+ customers, print and certificate management) and Zeendoc (600,000+ users, document management and invoice automation). We're building our agent network with experienced professionals, whatever brought them to this stage of their career, who already understand our markets and already have the relationships to open doors with them.
This role suits people looking to get back into a market that overlooked them, and equally suits people who've taken early retirement, or are planning to, and want to put decades of relationships and credibility to productive use without committing to a full-time role. Age is not a barrier here. It's the qualification.
What you'll do
- Open conversations with end users and resellers across your network and territory
- Run first-meeting discovery and qualify the opportunity
- Quote directly from the Folio1 price list and agree terms with the prospect yourself
- Draw on our team for demos and technical scoping before the sale, and hand over to us for contracts, installation and support once terms are agreed
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What you won't be asked to do
- Report daily activity, log hours, or justify your diary
- Attend mandatory meetings. Join the team calls if you want to, or work solo
- Commit to a fixed weekly time investment. Some agents work a few hours a week, some work full time. That's your decision, and it can change
- Choose between this and other work, or between this and retirement itself. Both sit alongside it perfectly well
What you'll bring
- Relevant experience in print management, document management, or cyber security, at any career stage, including post-retirement
- An existing network of contacts, whether resellers, end users, or both
- The confidence to hold a credible first conversation and quote from a published price list without needing sign-off for every step
- Self-direction. Nobody will be managing you day to day
What Folio1 offers
- Uncapped, generous commission from the first pound, no minimum threshold
- Commission on renewals and expansions for as long as your agreement is in force, so a relationship you build keeps paying you
- Expenses reimbursed monthly up to an agreed £1,000 limit, on production of receipts and proven mileage
- Full training provided, covering both product lines, pricing and positioning, so nobody is expected to start already knowing our products
- Once you open an account, it remains yours for as long as you continue working with Folio1. This is written into the agent agreement, not offered as an informal assurance
- Pre and post-sales support from our team: demonstrations and technical scoping ahead of the sale, contracts, installation and onboarding after it
- Ask us about equipment and technology support when we speak. It varies by agent and we're happy to talk it through

A note on where we are
Folio1 is a startup. We're honest that cash is tight in the early stages, but the opportunity is not. If the role works for you, you decide whether to stay. If it doesn't, you've added real, current experience to your CV, or simply had a productive year, either way. That choice is yours, not ours.
