At Argos, our Marketplace is a growing part of how we bring more choice, value and convenience to customers. As the platform continues to expand, the success of our sellers plays a critical role in delivering a great customer experience and driving commercial growth.
The Seller Account Lead sits at the heart of that. Working across a diverse portfolio of Marketplace partners, the role focuses on building strong relationships, improving seller performance and helping partners unlock their full potential on the platform. Combining commercial insight with operational excellence, it plays an important role in ensuring sellers are set up for success while supporting the wider growth ambitions of the Marketplace.
Working closely with teams across Seller Onboarding, Customer Service, Retail Media and Commercial, the role provides support, challenge and guidance to sellers, helping them navigate opportunities, resolve issues and improve performance. From analysing trading trends and identifying growth opportunities to enhancing seller engagement and driving operational improvements, there is plenty of variety and exposure across the Marketplace ecosystem.
It is a fast-paced role with a strong focus on relationship building, problem-solving and influencing outcomes. A great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with partners, using insight to drive decisions and making a visible impact on a growing part of the business.

What You'll Do
The focus of the role is on driving the health, performance and growth of the Marketplace seller base. Working closely with a portfolio of sellers, you'll help improve commercial performance, operational standards and customer outcomes while supporting the delivery of wider Marketplace objectives.
Through regular engagement with sellers and analysis of trading performance, you'll identify opportunities for growth, spot emerging risks and recommend actions that drive improvement. You'll also work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure sellers receive the support they need, while helping to shape initiatives that enhance the seller experience and contribute to the continued growth of the Marketplace.
Alongside managing day-to-day seller activity, you'll play a key role in identifying process improvements, driving participation in commercial initiatives and ensuring high standards of compliance, service and operational performance are maintained across the platform.

Naturally collaborative, organised and proactive, with the ability to build credibility with a range of stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. Someone who enjoys working through complexity, taking ownership and finding practical solutions that deliver results.
Essential Criteria
- Experience in account management, partner management, commercial support, operations or a similar role.
- Understanding of marketplace dynamics, retail or eCommerce environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and create actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build rapport and trusted relationships with external partners.
- Good understanding of fulfilment, delivery, customer service or catalogue onboarding processes.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
