Job Title: Laboratory Analyst

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Middlesborough

Hours: 13 hours per week

Shift: Monday 1.30pm to 4pm / Tuesday to Thursday 3pm to 4pm / Friday 8am to 4pm

Salary: £8,666.32 pa

Responsibilities

  • Preparation, analysis and reporting of samples for asbestos via SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope)
  • Accurate identification of asbestos fibers via SEM
  • Timely processing of samples and production

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has a real interest in laboratory techniques

Essential Experience

  • Working safely in a lab or production environment
  • Conducting other related asbestos work such as fibre counting
  • Minimum GCSE Chemistry
