SEMH Classroom Assistant
Location: Wokingham
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Scale: £90.00 - £105.00 per day
Are you a resilient and empathetic SEMH Classroom Assistant looking to make a meaningful impact in education? Do you have experience supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs?
A supportive Specialist School in Wokingham is looking for a committed SEMH Classroom Assistant to join their team immediately. The successful SEMH Classroom Assistant will support pupils with SEMH needs, behavioural challenges, and autism.

Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Helping pupils engage in classroom activities
- Building strong and trusting relationships with students
- Working closely with teachers and therapists
- ASAP start in a well-connected location
Requirements
The ideal SEMH Classroom Assistant will have experience in education, care, or mentoring.
