AWR up to £302.11 PAYE/ £358 Umbrella - Based on Pay Scale plus SEN Allowance

Our partner school in the London Borough of Hillingdon is dedicated to supporting secondary students with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH). Supporting 11-19 year olds offering a varied curriculum with a strong focus on practical skills and enrichment opportunities. This is a great opportunity to be based in a brand new, purpose-built school, designed to meet the needs of the students and create a calm, supportive learning environment where they can thrive.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nurture Teacher to join their welcoming school community. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of children with additional needs, delivering tailored lessons that support and inspire every child to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • To raise standards of student progress and achievement
  • To be accountable for student progress and development within the Transition Department
  • To be a role model of professionalism and good practice
  • To ensure the provision of an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum for students in the Transition Department

Key Requirements

  • Hold a recognised full teaching qualification such as QTS
  • A clear understanding of the features of high-quality teaching and learning at KS3 and 4
  • Experience of working with students with social, emotional and mental health needs
  • Knowledge and experience of the national curriculum at secondary levels
