Job Title: SEMH Learning Support Assistant
Milk Education is looking for a confident SEMH Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist education setting in Guisborough.
This role would suit someone with experience supporting children or young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, challenging behaviour or additional learning needs.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support
- Helping pupils manage emotions and regulate behaviour
- Building consistent, trusting relationships
- Supporting pupils to access learning
- Using positive behaviour strategies
Who We Are Looking For?
We'd particularly like to hear from candidates with experience in:
- SEMH / SEND settings
- Behaviour support
- Residential or social care
- Sports coaching
- Psychology / Criminology / Childhood Studies
- Supporting children or young people with challenging behaviour

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
