Primary Teacher
A nurturing independent SEMH school in Wythenshawe is looking for a qualified Primary Teacher to join their close-knit school.
This is a unique opportunity to join this well-established education group in supporting pupils with diverse needs. The school is seeking a Primary Teacher with experience of working with SEND or SEMH pupils. They provide a broad and balanced Primary-style curriculum to promote engagement and individual progression.
They are a growing group of friendly SEMH schools that also offer ongoing training and opportunities for career progression, alongside a supportive team culture.

Job description:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons to KS3/KS4 pupils with complex SEMH, ASC, and other learning needs who require a Primary-style learning approach
- Alongside the curriculum, providing emotional regulation and sensory support
- Promoting independence and confidence through tailored, nurture-focused learning
- Tracking progress and contributing to EHCP processes

Working hours: 8:15am - 4pm
Starting: September
Salary: £34,000 - £36,000
Person specification:
- Experience of teaching, preferably in a SEN setting
- QTS or QTLS (essential, ECTs must be completed)
- Experience of adapting teaching to various needs
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Adaptable, resilient, and empathetic attitude
