SEMH Tutor & Teacher

Greater Manchester - Bolton, Bury, Manchester City, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford & Wigan

£28 to £30 per hour / £210 - £225 per day

Flexible - single day cover through to long term placements, part-time and full-time.

About The Role

Some young people simply need the right person to believe in them. Elevate Beyond works with specialist SEMH schools, Alternative Provision academies, and PRUs across Greater Manchester, providing experienced tutors who can rebuild confidence, improve engagement, and help pupils achieve positive outcomes.

You will work with small groups or individual learners in highly supportive specialist teams where relationships come before behaviour and restorative approaches underpin everything.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Delivering engaging, differentiated learning for pupils with SEMH, ADHD, autism, EBD, anxiety, and trauma-related presentations
  • Building trusted relationships with pupils who have disengaged from mainstream education
  • Working within specialist teams using restorative and therapeutic approaches
  • Supporting pupils from KS2 through to post-16

Essential Requirements

  • QTS, QTLS, or substantial equivalent experience
  • Minimum one year in SEMH or Alternative Provision
  • Enhanced DBS with children's barred list
  • DBS Update Service registration
  • Level 2 Safeguarding certificate
  • Two professional references
  • Right to work in the UK
