About Energy Freedom
Energy Freedom is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting energy independence through sustainable and cost-effective alternative energy solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Our mission is to empower individuals and businesses with alternatives to traditional energy sources, helping them reduce costs, increase sustainability, and gain energy security.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Semi-Outbound Specialist to join our outreach team. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging potential customers, educating them about energy alternatives, and generating interest in our services. Your efforts will help drive awareness and support for Energy Freedom’s mission, making a real impact in the transition to sustainable energy.
This role is seeking self-motivated industry professionals. 3-5% commission on 25-70k deal sizes for a 5-8 minute conversation. Historically we’ve witnessed about 1/25 booking rate (conversations), however please note booking rates may vary significantly.
Leads provided. You will never have to dial. Just pick up the phone when people call in.
What Makes This Opportunity Attractive
- Prospects call you. No sitting on a dead dialer. No manual actions. Just pick up when they call. Just the dynamic alone of them calling you is a gamechanger.
- 3-5% commission on 25-70k deal sizes. ($1250-$3750 potential per 5-8min conversation)
- You are NOT selling anything. Every residential homeowner or SMB already has a utility bill. You are simply setting up an appointment for a qualification stage.
- The offer has almost no credit requirements, and all deals have financing options down to very low credit scores. The services are structured in a way where prospects are switching from a variable ever-increasing utility rate to a lower (typically) financed rate.
- We are confident enough in our abilities to reduce utility bills that we are willing to give a $20 gift card to anyone that we cannot provide a reduction for. (Some minor qualifications apply). This means that almost every conversation and booking is a qualified fit.
- No micromanagement.
- No required scheduled meetings.
- Work at your own pace. Including alongside other jobs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Feedback We’ve Received From This Role
- The first major thing about this company is the amazing people and work structure, this doesn’t feel like a job but more like a bunch of cool dudes chilling and making money through learning a really useful skill
- They heard this from me already, but the fact it’s not Salary + Bonus is the biggest held back for me. As for positives, I love the management team - rare to have really good people in charge
- This sales opportunity is a great for people new and experienced. While experienced salesmen coming in may have it easier jumping right in, the training provided really accelerates you for what lies ahead. Not only that, the training coaches really value a more educational/informing approach when sharing discussions with prospects. I think that approach sets a good foundation because it allows the conversation to be less ‘in your face’ and more dynamic. Also, the coaches genuinely care about your success, so it makes it easier to swallow mistakes and work on them when you have that kind of support. Whether you need it takes you days or weeks to get in the groove, the patience is there from the jump too. The only challenge I find is that if you’re new to sales and transitioning into this. Being paid commission there will be an adjustment period. There is a saving grace in this though, the company allows you to double dip between jobs until you feel prepared and ready to go full time.
