Job Description
The Institute of Cosmetologie (IOC) – part of The Beauté Group – is expanding into a brand-new, purpose-built training academy in Kettering. We deliver accredited and professional courses across beauty, aesthetics, and advanced skin education, and are now looking for a highly experienced Freelance SPMU Tutor to join our growing team.
If you’re an established semi-permanent makeup artist with a proven track record and a passion for teaching, this is a fantastic opportunity to share your skills and shape the next generation of professionals.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver accredited and CPD-approved training in:
- Microblading
- Machine Brows (SPMU)
- Lip Blush
- Eyeliner Tattooing
- Additional advanced modules where qualified.
- Teach theory and practical elements to small groups and individual learners.
- Provide structured, engaging training sessions with a strong emphasis on safety and precision.
- Assess learner progress, mark coursework, and maintain accurate training records.
- Collaborate with IOC’s admin and education team on scheduling, model management, and student support.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience as a Semi-Permanent Makeup Artist.
- Fully qualified in:
- Microblading
- Machine Brows (SPMU)
- Lip Blush
- Eyeliner
- Minimum Level 3 Award in Education & Training (AET/PTLLS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience delivering accredited or CPD training.
- Professional indemnity insurance and own equipment for demonstrations.
- Passionate about education, high standards, and helping others grow their skills.
