About the Role

We're looking for an Accounts Semi-Senior to support our accounts team, managing a portfolio of clients and delivering high-quality accounts, tax and advisory services. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a supportive, forward-thinking practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as main point of contact for a portfolio of clients
  • Prepare statutory accounts, management accounts, and personal/corporation tax computations
  • Deliver accurate, high-quality work to professional and regulatory standards
  • Meet deadlines while managing workload and priorities effectively
  • Support senior team members on client deliverables
  • Mentor and support junior staff, allocating and reviewing their work
  • Contribute to improving team processes and quality controls
  • Keep up to date with CPD and technical knowledge

Requirements

  • Part-qualified ACA/ACCA/ATT (or equivalent), or working towards
  • 3+ years' experience in an accountancy practice, particularly accounts prep and personal tax
  • Familiarity with accounting/tax software (e.g. IRIS, CCH, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent)
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Good communication, organisation, and attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and manage own workload
