Description
- Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Prepare Corporation Tax computations and returns
- Assist with personal and business tax matters
- Prepare VAT returns and management accounts
- Carry out bookkeeping and account reconciliations using cloud-based accounting software
- Liaise directly with clients and respond to day-to-day queries
- Support senior team members with client assignments and deadlines
- Ensure work is completed accurately and in line with professional standards
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across a diverse portfolio
Profile
- Ideally 2-4 years' experience within an accountancy practice
- ACCA part-qualified, AAT qualified or equivalent practical experience
- Experience preparing year-end accounts for a range of business entities
- Good understanding of Corporation Tax and VAT
- Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
- Proactive and positive approach to work
- Keen to continue learning and progressing within the profession

- £27,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
